As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Reporting in Chillicothe IL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents monitor assigned areas and provide outstanding customer service. Use clear communication and computer or tablet skills to support security-related operations while working with an agile reliable innovative Allied Universal team that puts people first delivers through teamwork and acts with integrity.

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees contractors and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures policies and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings production-adjacent areas parking areas access points and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity verify credentials as directed and document entries observations and incidents in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
• Observe for unusual conditions equipment-related hazards and policy concerns during patrols and communicate findings to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
