As a Security Officerin Davenport IA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology media and telecommunications location you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service communicate clearly and report security-related concerns. Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors contractors and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings parking areas access points loading areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access control points visitor activity and facility entry and exit procedures; verify credentials and direct individuals in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations and actions taken.
• Prepare clear accurate reports related to patrols incidents access concerns and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
