As a Security Guard Transit Overnightin Denver CO you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a public transit environment you will monitor assigned areas conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents and assist riders visitors and staff with professionalism. You will communicate clearly respond to security-related concerns and contribute to a welcoming environment. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers visitors and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures transit policies and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of transit facilities platforms parking areas vehicle staging areas and surrounding perimeters to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and public areas assist with crowd management during peak travel periods and special events and report suspicious activity or unattended property according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents disturbances service disruptions and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner; coordinate with transit personnel and public emergency responders as directed.
• Document daily activities incidents observations and policy violations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Possess a guard card or license preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Possess a state county or city-issued security license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
