Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $34.70 - $35.70 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers employees and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities at public transit locations.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transit facilities platforms stations adjacent areas and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity hazards and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents disturbances medical emergencies and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel.
• Maintain possession and proper handling of assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws licensing requirements post orders and Allied Universal policies.
• Prepare clear accurate reports of observations incidents and actions taken and communicate relevant information to supervisors and designated transit personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid Law Enforcement Officer License.
• An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
