As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Emergency Support Patrol in Richmond VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology media and telecommunications location you will monitor assigned areas conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and deliver exceptional customer service. You will communicate clearly with visitors and team members while supporting a welcoming environment. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors contractors and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities offices parking areas loading zones and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity hazards or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity verify credentials in accordance with site procedures and maintain accurate security-related logs and reports.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Support a professional environment by providing directions assisting with access-related questions and communicating observations to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
