As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Access Badge Patrol in Palmetto GA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. Allied Universal officers monitor and patrol a logistics and distribution location helping to maintain a welcoming protected environment for employees visitors and operations. Responsibilities include conducting routine patrols supporting access points remaining visible to help discourage incidents and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures policies and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas loading docks parking areas access points and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location verify authorized personnel and visitors and report suspicious activity or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating concerns to appropriate personnel when needed.
• Document patrols incidents observations and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• X-ray screening experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
