As a Security Guard Armed - Property Access in Greenville SC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas help to deter security-related incidents support access control activities and provide professional customer service. This driving post requires a valid drivers license and armed guard card or license. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures access-control requirements and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating concerns according to established post orders.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities controlled areas parking areas and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points verify credentials screen visitors and deliveries and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Carry and maintain assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws licensing requirements post orders and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
• Have at least three years of security-related law enforcement military police or military experience.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
