As a Security Guard Armed Patrol Driver in Miami FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government location you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents respond to security-related concerns and communicate professionally with staff and visitors. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $22.26 / Hour

Job Schedule:

This is a full-time position. You can expect to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule for this position has not been assigned yet. If you are selected to move forward your schedule will be determined as you progress through the hiring onboarding and training process. Your manager will work with you to assign a schedule based on business needs before your start date.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors employees contractors and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings grounds parking areas access points and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity hazards and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents alarms disturbances and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner following established post orders and notifying appropriate personnel or public agencies as needed.
• Monitor access to restricted areas verify authorized entry and maintain awareness of visitor vehicle and employee activity in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents patrols observations and other security-related activities including the appropriate handling of sensitive information.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement military or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a corrections officer license.
• Provide a DD214 with an honorable discharge an associate degree 60 college credits a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate.
• Possess a law enforcement officer license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
