As a Security Guard Armed - Overnight in Greenville SC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas help deter security-related incidents manage access points and provide professional customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings business areas parking areas perimeter locations and restricted-access zones to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points verify credentials and visitor authorization and maintain awareness of controlled areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following applicable laws Allied Universal policies and client requirements for armed personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations incidents and security-related concerns to site leadership and appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Have three or more years of security-related law enforcement military police or military experience.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
