Introduction
Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this Security Engineer position. This position is a hybrid opportunity which is expected to be hybrid in Sacramento CA. Engineer is required to have a minimum of 5 years of experience and 3 years working with Palo Alto firewalls Panorama and SASE products.
Job Description:
Looking for a Palo Alto Security engineer. Must be able to troubleshoot support tickets and provide capable diagnosis of initial security challenges and to work with Tier 2 and above engineers to resolution. Good and clear communication skills are required.
- 5 years experience as a security engineer in an enterprise multi-location environment.
- 3 years or more of managing Palo Alto Network Next Generation Firewalls running PAN-OS 10 or higher.
- 3 years administering configuring templates security profiles on Palo Alto Networks Panorama.
- Familiarity with Palo Alto Networks Prisma Access. Palo Alto SASE products
- Have working knowledge of Enterprise Networking and practical understanding of advance routing protocols and switch configurations.
Qualified candidates would have the following:
- Applicant must be in the Sacramento metropolitan area.
- Applicant must be able to come to work on-site at office locations (Sacramento Expo HQ Oakland Fresno and Los Angeles) including CDT Rancho Cordova TMS Data Center when needed.
- Applicant must have his/her own private vehicle.
- Desirable if candidate has standard security certifications i.e. Palo Alto Security etc.
- Working knowledge of support ticket applications (example ServiceNow etc.)
