Security Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Analyst to join our team. As a Security Analyst you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our digital systems and sensitive information.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats to our systems and data

- Develop and implement security protocols and procedures to protect against cyber attacks and data breaches

- Monitor network activity and investigate any suspicious or unauthorized behavior

- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies and make recommendations for improvements to our systems and processes

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards

- Respond to security incidents and provide timely resolution and documentation

- Conduct training and awareness sessions for employees on security best practices

- Assist in the development and maintenance of disaster recovery and business continuity plans

- Participate in security incident response and investigations as needed

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field

- At least 3 years of experience in a security analyst or similar role

- Strong knowledge of information security principles standards and best practices

- Experience with security tools such as firewalls intrusion detection systems and vulnerability scanners

- Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards such as HIPAA and PCI DSS

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
