Job Summary

PGS Worldwide is seeking a Secret-Cleared Analog Design Engineer in Tucson Arizona for a one-year onsite contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This position will provide electrical engineering design support for printed circuit card assemblies involving analog electronics power electronics and motor-control applications.

Required Skills
  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 5 years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Analog electronics
    • Power electronics
    • Motor-control electronics
  • Experience analyzing and simulating electronic circuits.
  • Experience documenting technical analyses and simulation results.
  • Experience with schematic capture.
  • Experience using electronic circuit simulation tools.
  • Ability to support circuit-card development through analysis simulation schematic development and test.
  • Active U.S. Government Secret clearance required to start.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with SaberRD modeling tools.
  • Experience with Siemens Xpedition schematic-capture tools.
  • PCB design experience sufficient to provide guidance on component placement and routing.
  • Experience supporting printed circuit board or printed circuit card assembly development.
What Youll Do
  • Perform circuit analysis for analog power and/or motor-control electronics.
  • Develop and run electronic circuit simulations.
  • Perform schematic capture and maintain engineering documentation.
  • Support design and development of printed circuit card assemblies.
  • Test circuit cards and evaluate functional performance.
  • Document analyses simulation results schematics and test findings.
  • Identify and communicate technical risks.
  • Support on-time completion of assigned engineering tasks and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with electrical hardware and related engineering teams throughout the design process.
Work Schedule / Shift
  • Full-time onsite in Tucson Arizona.
  • 1st Shift.
  • All hours are billed at the standard rate; no premium overtime rate applies.
Pay
  • $86.44 per hour.
