Seasonal Snowplow Operator – CDL Driver (On-Call)

• Operate snowplow trucks and assigned winter maintenance equipment to remove snow and apply de-icing materials to roadways.
  
• Perform safe and efficient plowing operations during winter weather events including heavy snow ice and mixed precipitation.
  
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicles and equipment.
  
• Maintain communication with supervisors regarding route conditions weather conditions and operational updates.
  
• Respond on an on-call basis during and after snow events including daytime nighttime weekends and holidays.
  
• Support roadway snow removal de-icing and clearing operations to maintain safe and accessible roadways.
  
• Follow all required safety standards traffic control procedures and operational requirements.
  
• Operate assigned vehicles and equipment safely in cold icy and extreme weather conditions.
  
• Perform other winter maintenance duties as assigned.
  

Required Qualifications:

• Valid CDL Class A or Class B.
  
• Previous experience operating snowplow trucks or similar heavy vehicles preferred.
  
• Clean driving record.
  
• Ability to respond to winter storms and operational needs on short notice.
  
• Ability to work flexible schedules including nights weekends holidays and extended shifts.
  
• Ability to work outdoors in cold icy and extreme weather conditions for extended periods.
  
• Strong commitment to safe vehicle and equipment operation.
  
• Ability to follow instructions communicate effectively with supervisors and work as part of a winter operations team.
  

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  

• Valid CDL Class A or B.
  
• Clean driving record.
