To plan prepare and implement lesson plans for assigned classes; to provide instruction; to evaluate student progress and provide special assistance as necessary; and to perform related duties as assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications
Must hold a valid California Education Specialist Moderate/Severe Credential English Learner Authorization issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. Must also be NCLB compliant by either holding a Multiple Subject Teaching credential or have passed the Multiple Subject CSET exams. Behavior experience is desired. ** To be considered for hire candidates must meet the minimum requirements including a successful interview and reference checks. Please note that we require three references one of them must be the most recent supervisor.

Special Education Teachers in self-contained classrooms will receive an annual payment of $5000 in addition to their base salary paid over two pay warrants in two equal payments November and May (prorated for partial FTE or late hires).
