TITLE: SCRUM Master with ACTIVE Secret Security Clearance

RATE RANGE: $50.00 - $65.00/hr W2 (no health benefits while on contract an hour worked is an hour paid)

LOCATION: Must be local to Orlando FL and willing to come onsite >50% of the time

DURATION: 12 month contract or contract to hire

SECURITY CLEARANCE: Active Secret security clearance issued by the Department of Defense

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Scrum Master

- Responsible for guiding 1-2 agile teams through agile development of operational baseline updates

- Facilitate all Scrum Meetings (Sprint Planning Daily Stand-ups Sprint Reviews Retrospectives)

- Promote Agile principles and best practices within the team and across the organization

- Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain a well-groomed and prioritized backlog

- Communicate project status risks and issues to stakeholders

- Track team performance metrics and support continuous improvement efforts

- Identify and remove impediments to team progress.

- Ensure transparency of progress through radiators like burndown charts dashboards etc

- Ensure compliance with government regulations reporting requirements and security protocols

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Must have some experience in IT Fullstack Software or systems engineering and working with engineering teams.

Scrum master certification required

Must have experience using Jira

Must have active secret clearance an

Meeting Facilitation 1 - 2 Years

Oral and Written Communication Skills 4 - 6 Years

Problem Solving Capability 4 - 6 Years

Agile Software Development 4 - 6 Years

JIRA 2 - 4 Years

Engineering Design Principles 4 - 6 Years

Software Engineering 1 - 2 Years
