Scrum Master – Senior

CGI Federal is seeking a Senior Scrum Master to support the Migration Workstream of a major federal modernization program. This role serves as a servant leader for cross functional migration ETL data engineering and testing teams ensuring disciplined Agile execution sprint velocity and continuous delivery aligned with mission priorities. The Senior Scrum Master enables team collaboration removes impediments and ensures that sprint activities support the programs petabyte scale migration data transformation and integration objectives.

Agile Leadership & Delivery Execution
Lead sprint planning daily stand ups backlog refinement sprint reviews and retrospectives for the Migration workstream.
Ensure disciplined execution of Agile ceremonies and adherence to SAFe practices as used across the program.
Collaborate with the Product Owner to maintain a prioritized backlog and ensure clarity of user stories.
Track sprint throughput team performance commitments and dependencies.
Cross Functional Coordination
Facilitate coordination between data engineers ETL specialists migration teams quality engineers and cloud teams.
Support alignment of technical activities with migration architectures data pipelines and delivery schedules.
Work closely with DevSecOps QA/test automation and integration teams to ensure consistent workflow progression.
Impediment Removal & Risk Management
Proactively identify blockers impacting migration activities and coordinate timely resolution.
Monitor risks and dependencies linked to large scale data movement pipeline readiness or upstream system changes.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workflow efficiency and sprint predictability.
Stakeholder Communication & Reporting
Prepare and deliver sprint reports burn down charts team status updates and operational summaries.
Communicate proactively with leadership technical leads and mission stakeholders regarding sprint health and challenges.
Reinforce Agile standards team norms and communication expectations.
Quality & Delivery Support
Ensure user stories and acceptance criteria support high-quality data migration outcomes.
Coordinate with QA to integrate automated testing validation checkpoints and defect management into the sprint lifecycle.
Support readiness for major migration milestones technical demonstrations and deployment events.

Must have Active Top Secret Security Clearance.
U.S. Citizenship.
Bachelors degree and 8 years of experience serving as a Scrum Master or Agile facilitator on federal or enterprise programs.
Strong understanding of Agile/SAFe backlog management sprint execution and multi team coordination.
Experience supporting data migration ETL operations cloud based pipelines or modernization initiatives.
Excellent facilitation communication and problem solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications
SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
Experience with petabyte scale data migration programs data engineering workflows or ETL pipeline operations.
Background supporting DOJ FBI Intelligence Community or other national security customers.
Familiarity with cloud services (AWS preferred) DevSecOps tooling and CI/CD automation.
