Job Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension)
Rate: $35-48/hr on W2 (DOE)

Overview
This position requires a hands-on experience in molecular biology next-generation sequencing (NGS) and molecular diagnostics to support the development and optimization of advanced sequencing assays.
Key Responsibilities
- Extract cell-free nucleic acids from clinical plasma whole blood and FFPE tissue samples.
- Perform and optimize NGS library preparation targeted enrichment and methylation sequencing workflows.
- Execute high-throughput sequencing operations using the AXELIOS 1 sequencer.
- Conduct laboratory experiments analyze results troubleshoot workflows and recommend follow-up experiments.
- Collaborate with molecular biology and bioinformatics teams to improve sequencing performance.
Required Qualifications
- Background in molecular biology genomics or a related life science field.
- Good understanding of NGS library preparation targeted enrichment and sequencing.
- Hands-on experience with nucleic acid extraction and clinical specimens.
- Experience with methylation sequencing or assay optimization is highly desirable.
- Preferred Experience: Experience with cfDNA FFPE samples and high-throughput sequencing platforms.
