Overview
This role focuses on oligonucleotide therapeutics discovery supporting RNAi-based research through synthesis characterization and collaboration across therapeutic areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute oligonucleotide synthesis and purification workflows.
- Perform HPLC and mass spectrometer analysis for characterization and impurity profiling.
- Support RNAi and nucleic acid therapeutic discovery across neuroscience immunology and oncology programs.
- Develop and scale up synthesis of lead oligonucleotide candidates for pre clinical studies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate chemistry and biology data.
- Maintain and troubleshoot lab equipment (e.g. oligo synthesizers HPLC systems).
- Conduct literature reviews and contribute to experimental design and strategy.
Qualifications
- BS/MS in Organic Chemistry or related field.
- Hands-on experience with oligonucleotide synthesis purification and characterization.
- Experience with automated oligo synthesizers HPLC and mass spectrometry.
- Understanding of RNAi nucleic acid therapeutics and modification chemistries preferred.
