About the Role

Hello RNs! Ampersand Therapy is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) to support students in school-based settings throughout Aurora CO. Opportunities include both 1:1 nursing and full school nurse positions. Youll provide hands-on student care manage health needs administer medications and treatments and collaborate with school teams to support student wellness and safety.

What Youll Do

• Provide nursing care based on individual student needs and care plans
• Monitor and manage student health conditions injuries and illnesses
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance
• Communicate with families regarding student health needs
• Collaborate with school staff administrators and special education teams
• Participate in IEP and 504 meetings as appropriate
• Respond to emergencies and follow school safety protocols
• Support health screenings and student wellness initiatives
  

What Were Looking For

• Active Colorado State RN license
• School Nursing CDE or ability to obtain
• Ability to pass fingerprinting and background check
• Experience in pediatrics school nursing or public health preferred
• Strong clinical judgment organization and communication skills
