About the Role
Hello RNs! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) supporting students in Colorado Springs this role youll provide hands-on student care manage day-to-day health needs in the school health room and help create a safe and supportive environment for students. This is a great opportunity for nurses interested in pediatrics public health or transitioning into a rewarding school-based setting.

What Youll Do
Triage and manage student injuries illnesses and chronic conditions
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and care plans
Provide first aid and respond to student health concerns throughout the school day
Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance
Communicate with families regarding student health needs and updates
Collaborate with teachers school staff administrators and special education teams
Participate in IEP and 504 meetings as appropriate
Respond to emergencies and follow school safety protocols
Monitor immunization compliance and support health screenings
Promote student health safety and wellness throughout the school
What Were Looking For
Active Colorado State RN license
School Nursing CDE or ability to obtain
Ability to pass fingerprinting and background check
Experience in pediatrics school nursing or public health preferred
Strong clinical judgment organization and communication skills
Passion for supporting students and their health needs
