PURPOSEOperates basic saw types such as pop-up miter web saws etc. to cut planks timbers or boards according to work orders by performing the following DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESReviews work order to determine cut(s) to be saw for required speed of saw and feed automatic feeding of lumber to saw or pushes end of lumber into feed cut lumber after supervisor of dull saw duties as assignedSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis job has no supervisory REQUIREMENTSTo perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
