Starting Rate of pay: $23.76/hour
Shifts Available and Hours:

Night Shift

5:45PM 6:15AM

Shift Premium: $1.00/hour extra for shift differential
What you will be doing
  • Operate set up and safely shut down billet saws and banding equipment to meet daily production schedules.
  • Accurately stamp tag and identify billets to maintain material traceability and inventory accuracy.
  • Move materials throughout the facility using forklifts overhead cranes and other material handling equipment.
  • Monitor equipment performance change saw blades as needed and report maintenance issues promptly.
  • Complete production documentation and operational records accurately and on time.
  • Follow established safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements and safe work practices.
  • Maintain a clean organized work area and support housekeeping and continuous improvement initiatives.
What will make you successful

Required Education/Experience:

  • Ability to read understand and follow written work instructions safety procedures and production documentation.
  • Ability to safely work in a manufacturing environment while adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform routine equipment adjustments and identify operational issues.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role including lifting up to 50 pounds standing for extended periods and working overtime or rotating shifts as needed.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous manufacturing production warehouse or industrial experience.
  • Experience operating forklifts overhead cranes or other material handling equipment.
  • Experience working in a heavy industrial metals casting or extrusion environment.
