Night Shift
5:45PM 6:15AM
- Operate set up and safely shut down billet saws and banding equipment to meet daily production schedules.
- Accurately stamp tag and identify billets to maintain material traceability and inventory accuracy.
- Move materials throughout the facility using forklifts overhead cranes and other material handling equipment.
- Monitor equipment performance change saw blades as needed and report maintenance issues promptly.
- Complete production documentation and operational records accurately and on time.
- Follow established safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements and safe work practices.
- Maintain a clean organized work area and support housekeeping and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Education/Experience:
- Ability to read understand and follow written work instructions safety procedures and production documentation.
- Ability to safely work in a manufacturing environment while adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
- Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform routine equipment adjustments and identify operational issues.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role including lifting up to 50 pounds standing for extended periods and working overtime or rotating shifts as needed.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous manufacturing production warehouse or industrial experience.
- Experience operating forklifts overhead cranes or other material handling equipment.
- Experience working in a heavy industrial metals casting or extrusion environment.
