Position Description:

CGI Federal is seeking a Sustainment Operations Lead to oversee postdeployment operations and longterm support for the CIBS (Core Integrated Business Solutions) platform the delivered solution for a large DHS program. This modernized SAPbased financial management system supports a large federal civilian agency.

The Sustainment Operations Lead ensures stable production operations continuous improvement regulatory compliance and effective coordination across functional technical and program teams. This role maintains system reliability supports end users manages enhancements and ensures operational readiness in a missioncritical environment. Responsibilities include partnering with developers and test engineers on build deployment packaging and release activities. The role is customerfacing facilitating change control meetings documenting approvals maintaining configuration management artifacts and preparing reports.

This position is located in our Fairfax VA office; however a hybrid working model is acceptable. You will be required to be in our Fairfax VA office a minimum of two days per week.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Develop and implement configuration management processes including identification control audits and release management.
Lead daytoday sustainment operations for the SAP financial solution ensuring availability security performance and data integrity. Manage incident problem and change workflows in alignment with agency governance and ITIL practices.
Coordinate crossfunctional triage with SAP technical teams functional SMEs interface partners BASIS administrators and the cloud hosting provider (NS2).
Build and manage a Program Service Desk including staff oversight.
Support program strategy development for sustainment services.
Direct SAP releases enhancement packages security updates and break/fix deployments.
Maintain configuration baselines and ensure adherence to SAP transport procedures.
Serve as the primary sustainment point of contact for agency leadership and stakeholders.
Capture prioritize and refine enhancement requests.
Ensure compliance with federal financial policies accounting standards A123 internal controls FISCAM and audit readiness requirements.
Support annual audits by maintaining clear traceable operational documentation.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

U.S. citizenship and successful completion of the CGI background check; ability to obtain and maintain a DHS EOD/Public Trust clearance.
12 years of experience in development configuration management and/or production operations.
Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science Information Systems Mathematics Business or a related field.
Experience in Agile DevSecOps or continuous improvement sustainment models.
SAP sustainment or operations experience ideally in federal financial environments; strong knowledge of SAP support transport and release management and defect remediation.
Experience with configuration and release management across multiple applications.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience coordinating across complex multicomponent environments.
ITIL certification or equivalent.

Desired qualifications:
Experience supporting SAP systems for federal agencies.
Understanding of federal financial processes (general ledger funds management budget execution procurement grants cost management).
Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA or modernization from ECC to S/4HANA.
Experience supporting hybrid cloud or FedRAMP environments.
PMP certification.
Familiarity with federal financial modernization initiatives (FSM).

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set level experience relevant training and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $143500.00 $310700.00.
