EquipmentShare is looking for an experienced Sanitation Vertical Lead (Hybrid) to lead the growth and operations of our Sanitation division. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence customer satisfaction and profitable growth across multiple locations. The ideal candidate has a strong background in portable sanitation equipment and is experienced in leading teams in a fast-paced customer-focused environment.

Ability to travel (nationwide) up to 60% of the time required

Primary Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations for the Sanitation division ensuring safe efficient and profitable service delivery.
  • Drive the expansion of the Sanitation division by leading the startup and operational readiness of new branch locations nationwide ensuring successful execution of staffing equipment deployment customer onboarding and operational processes.
  • Frequently travel to branches and jobsite locations offering sanitation services.
  • Manage route planning scheduling equipment deployment servicing and asset recovery for related sanitation equipment.
  • Partner with branch leadership dispatch logistics and service teams to optimize fleet utilization and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor fleet availability inventory levels equipment condition and maintenance programs to maximize asset performance and lifecycle.
  • Develop and execute strategies to grow sanitation revenue by identifying new business opportunities within construction industrial and commercial markets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers contractors project managers and key stakeholders to ensure exceptional service and long-term partnerships.
  • Ensure compliance with all OSHA DOT EPA state and local environmental regulations governing sanitation operations and waste disposal.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients contractors and procurement teams to support ongoing and future projects.
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure equipment availability and support project execution.
  • Provide coaching training and performance feedback to promote employee development and operational excellence.
  • Foster a positive safety-focused work environment.
  • Assist with departmental budget tracking project cost management and revenue performance monitoring.
  • Track key operational metrics and prepare regular reports on project status productivity and financial performance.
  • Ensure projects comply with applicable safety regulations environmental requirements and client-specific standards.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Ability to travel up to 60% of the time required
  • Valid drivers license and a clean driving record
  • Strong ability to communicate with colleagues across departments with direct reports or with executive leadership
  • Natural leadership skills and desire to take ownership of work
  • Capable of juggling multiple tasks and wearing lots of hats at work
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and stay continuously educated on the latest EquipmentShare products and services
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship of a Visa

Education and Experience

  • 5 years of leadership experience in the sanitation services industry preferred
  • Knowledge of OSHA and relevant safety and environmental regulations
  • Experience coordinating sanitation services for industrial construction sites and large-scale projects
