Job Summary
- Support the cleanliness of plant equipment and help maintain sanitation and food safety standards.
- Use high-pressure high-temperature water hoses and approved cleaning chemicals to complete sanitation activities.
- Prepare production equipment for cleaning by following Lockout/Tagout procedures.
- Complete routine and deep-cleaning tasks according to the Master Sanitation Schedule including smokehouses breakrooms offices and other facility areas.
- Support overnight Smokehouse Operators by moving trucks loading and unloading ovens and taking product temperatures.
- Complete required monthly safety food safety and operational training assignments.
- Use computer systems to document work activities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work independently to complete assigned projects and daily responsibilities.
- Participate in plant safety initiatives and serve on safety teams as needed.
- 1 years of manufacturing sanitation or related industrial experience.
- Knowledge of plant safety practices sanitation procedures and waste disposal methods.
- Basic computer skills including data entry and information tracking.
- Being on your feet walking around the facility climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time.
- Performing consistent repetitive tasks.
- Frequently lifting pushing or carrying materials.
