AHF Products has a job opportunity for a Sander Operator to be in Beverly WV. Reporting to the Finish Line Production Supervisor the Sander Operator will play a crucial role by sanding all flooring properly within specifications and so a quality finish can be applied. Additionally the Sander Operator will be responsible for all maintenance of the sander and the efficiency with which it performs.

JOB DUTIES:
Must have a good attendance record.
Completion of maintenance of the Sander as well as scheduling additional maintenance as required
Ensure al counters are functioning properly.
Verify flooring specifications and document data.
Keep lineal quality and downtime sheets completed every hour
Change sanding paper as needed.
Maintain Housekeeping and 5S of Finish Line area
Must be able to complete daily production numbers and run footage requirements.
Ability to use a set of Calipers and Mics
Ability to operate and maintain or be willing to learn to operate and maintain multiple pieces of equipment
Practice safe work habits.
Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers
Must have a good attendance record
Ability to work different shifts

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
General knowledge of the Sander.
General maintenance ability
Ability to perform PMs correctly and in a timely manner
Effective communication include speaking writing active listening and taking instruction
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures with a commitment to creating a safe work environment
Ability to effectively work in a team environment
Excellent organizational skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to follow established policies and procedures
Proficient computer skills
Ability and willingness to work core hours to support the needs of our Business

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
