Job Summary
EDUCATION:
Must have a high school diploma an equivalent certificate or a bronze level WorkKeys certification and Textron Aviations blueprint reading class preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
6 months of sanding experience

Somewhat disagreeable working conditions with exposure to dust noise heat fumes and liquids. Safety shoes and protective clothing could be required. |

JOB SUMMARY:
To provide the next operation with a quality product by sanding to tolerance.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working from work orders specifications procedures and detailed instructions to sand basic parts.
Operates pneumatic and hand sanding tools to prepare basic furniture parts at the raw stage or prior to build-coat /topcoat processes.
Maintains close mental and visual attention to meet tolerance of finish per process.
Responsible for own work.
Performs other related duties as required.
