Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce & Tableau Licensing/Support Specialist to support the management of existing Salesforce Government Cloud Plus and Tableau Enterprise environments. The resource will be responsible for subscription and license administration renewals license optimization account management technical support coordination compliance and reporting.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing enterprise Salesforce and Tableau licensing environments and understand software subscription lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Salesforce Government Cloud Plus and Tableau Enterprise software subscriptions.
• Monitor license utilization subscription status and expiration dates.
• Coordinate annual subscription renewals and prevent service interruptions.
• Administer and maintain Salesforce and Tableau license allocations.
• Support license optimization and identify opportunities to improve license utilization.
• Coordinate with Salesforce Tableau and other software vendors as required.
• Manage customer/vendor communications related to licensing and renewals.
• Provide or coordinate technical support for Salesforce and Tableau environments.
• Track licensing compliance and ensure subscriptions remain aligned with contractual requirements.
• Prepare licensing utilization renewal and status reports.
• Maintain accurate subscription and license records.
• Assist with account management and user/license administration.
• Respond to customer service requests and resolve or escalate issues appropriately.
• Support ARLIS with ongoing software subscription management throughout the contract period.
• Follow applicable cybersecurity and information-security requirements including NIST SP 800-171 requirements where applicable.

Required Qualifications

• Experience managing Salesforce licensing and subscriptions.
• Experience with Tableau licensing and subscription management.
• Knowledge of Salesforce Enterprise licensing and Salesforce Government Cloud environments.
• Knowledge of Tableau Server/Enterprise licensing.
• Experience coordinating software renewals and vendor relationships.
• Experience with license administration tracking and optimization.
• Strong understanding of enterprise software subscription lifecycle management.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to prepare licensing and management reports.
• Ability to work remotely and coordinate with government/university stakeholders.
• Understanding of cybersecurity and compliance requirements applicable to government environments.

Preferred Experience

• Experience supporting higher-education government federal or public-sector customers.
• Salesforce Administrator or related Salesforce certification.
• Tableau certification or relevant Tableau administration experience.
• Experience with Salesforce Shield and Lightning Platform.
• Experience managing large enterprise software-license portfolios.
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800-171 and related cybersecurity controls.
