DIS is seeking a highly talented Salesforce Platform Architect to support the Salesforce Center of Excellence as part of the new VA OMEGA contract. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Salesforce architecture and best practices as well as extensive experience in enterprise-level Salesforce implementations. This role

requires strong leadership technical expertise and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable Salesforce architecture solutions aligned with VA OMEGA program requirements.
• Lead technical design sessions and provide architectural guidance across Salesforce platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business transformation initiatives.
• Define and enforce Salesforce development standards best practices and governance policies.
• Evaluate and recommend integration patterns and middleware solutions.
• Oversee data modeling security architecture and platform performance optimization.
• Mentor and provide technical leadership to development teams.
• Communicate architectural decisions and technical strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• 8 years of experience in Salesforce architecture development and implementation.
• Extensive experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud Service Cloud Experience Cloud and platform capabilities.
• Strong expertise in Apex Lightning Components Visualforce and Salesforce APIs.
• Experience with data modeling integration patterns and middleware solutions such as MuleSoft.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices CodeScan CI/CD pipelines and automated testing in Salesforce environments.
• Lead rigorous code reviews and PR evaluations to enforce high standards of system architecture security and performance.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to design scalable maintainable and high-performing solutions.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) Application Architect or System Architect.
• Experience in large-scale enterprise implementations of Salesforce. Knowledge of AI/ML capabilities within the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.

Salary is commensurate with experience.
