This highly collaborative position partners with stakeholders across the institution to design develop and implement Salesforce solutions that enhance the student employee and community experience. By leveraging technology to improve processes strengthen relationships and support data-informed decision-making you will directly contribute to the Universitys strategic priorities of Digital Transformation Student Success Inclusivity and Community Connections while supporting a mission rooted in access innovation student success and service to Northeast Wisconsin.

As a Salesforce Developer you will gather requirements design and deliver CRM applications and integrations manage technology projects provide training and support and collaborate with stakeholders from concept through implementation. Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Implements data structure and systems performance strategies
  • Prepares detailed system design specifications for system integration and upgrades
  • Maintains and troubleshoots applications systems or websites
  • Reviews application design specifications codes new applications and makes enhancements to existing applications
  • Prepares program documentation and training requirements
  • Tests and debugs programs and prepares systems test data
  • Develops or modifies technical specifications for moderately-complex projects using disciplined software development practices

Compensation range of $90000-$105000
This position is exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).


Required Qualifications:

  • All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. UW-Green Bay cannot sponsor an applicant for work authorization visas for this position including F-1 STEM OPT extensions
  • BS/BA degree in computer science/engineering information technology or related field at the time of application
  • One year of demonstrated Salesforce CRM development experience and/or relevant certifications (Salesforce Platform Developer 1 or 2 UX/Strategy Designer Salesforce Administrator etc.)
  • Experience with software development and object-oriented programming
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects tasks and resources
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely through verbal and written communication to various stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Three years of demonstrated Salesforce CRM development experience
  • Experience implementing maintaining and troubleshooting Blackthorn Event Registration solutions built on Salesforce
  • Experience working with Oracle Campus Solutions Workday or other Enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
  • Experience writing SQL queries analyzing data and utilizing report writing tools
  • Experience with related tools such as Form Assembly Salesforce API development Informatica etc.
  • Experience with information security compliance and/or audit
  • Commitment to cultivating a work environment that embraces inclusion

Conditions of Appointment:

The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay does not offer H-1B or other work authorization visa sponsorship for this position. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and maintain work authorization throughout the employment term. This position may have the option to work on-campus a hybrid schedule or fully remote subject to approved telecommuting request.


Position is a full-time Academic Staff appointment. In addition eligible employees receive several types of paid leave benefits which are prorated for employees working less than 100%. This includes 9 legal holidays 36 hours of personal holiday and between 96-130 hours of sick leave annually and paid parental leave.
