Nucor Steel Kingman is seeking a leader tor the position of Division Sales Manager. This Department Manager level position reports directly to the General Manager. Job duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Leadership role in promoting Nucors Mission ensuring safety is instilled as a value an appropriate focus on community & environmental stewardship and a proven focus on profitability.
Creating and executing a commercial and sales strategy for the division and the Western Bar Mill Group.
Developing team members through building relationships training and individual coaching.
Analyzing data and situations thinking strategically negotiating effectively and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Working collaboratively within the team to motivate and inspire an entire operation as part of the Leadership Team at Nucor Steel Kingman.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate lead and uphold safety policies practices procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.
- Five years combined commercial steel experience.
- Leadership Presence and Courage - Willingness and confidence to have immediate and direct conversations on critical alignment issues such as teamwork building relationships initiating and supporting change and production process issues that arise. This includes the willingness to face adversity and conflict head on.
- Problem Solving & JudgmentfDecision Making - Identifying problems gathering and reviewing relevant information and weighing options to make informed decisions and take effective actlon.
- Developing and Building Teams - Encouraging and building mutual trust respect and cooperation among team members as well as effectively managing and resolving conflict as needed.
- Coaching and Developing Others - Identifying the strengths and developmental needs of others to include coaching mentoring teaching training or Otherwise helping others to improve their skills to work effectively.
- Business Acumen - General business knowledge and an understanding of how Nucor makes money.
- Problem Solving & Judgment/Decision Making - Identifying problems gathering and reviewing relevant information and weighing options to make informed decisions and take effective action.
- Administration and Management - Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning resource allocation human resources systems leadership technique production methods recruiting and coordination of people and resources.
- Leadership experience in steel making or steel products field.
- Steelmaking Commercial Sales or Marketing experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Rebar and Rod Business.
- Four-year degree in Business or Marketing.
