Job Summary:
Training Pay: $20 per hour for 2-6 weeks (no commission)
Average Annual Earning Potential After Training: $60000 - $80000 (inclusive of base bonus and commission)
Job Description:
Are you a driven sales leader who knows how to motivate a team build customer relationships and deliver results Join La-Z-Boy as a Sales Manager and take the lead in driving store sales while developing a high-performing sales team.
This is an opportunity for a results-driven leader to make a direct impact on store performance team development customer experience and revenue growth. We provide the training and tools you need to succeed while giving you an uncapped earning opportunity based on your sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive store and individual sales goals and performance
- Coach train and motivate the sales team
- Champion the La-Z-Boy selling process and in-home design program
- Recognize top talent
- Deliver an exceptional branded customer experience
- Support sales events promotions and store operations
- Address customer concerns and help maintain a clean professional showroom
- Partner with leadership to improve sales and operational results
Operations:
- Resolve customer concerns and other issues that may interfere with efficient sales operations.
- Support planning and executing sales promotion and events.
- Collaborate with support teams to ensure flawless execution of operational excellence.
- Ensure proper execution of all existing and new systems and administrative procedures.
- Uphold brand visual standards in the store by ensuring cleanliness in employee and customer areas.
What Were Looking For:
- 1-3 years of sales or retail experience
- Strong communication leadership and customer service skills
- Goal-oriented with strong business and financial understanding
- Retail sales management experience preferred
- Ability to work evenings weekends and holidays based on business needs
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Must pass background and drug screening
What You Can Expect:
Training Pay:$20.00 per hour for 2-6 weeks (no commission)
Average Earning Potential After Training:$60000 - $80000 (inclusive of base commission and bonus)
- The company will not pay less than state/local minimum wage requirements
Post-Training Base Pay: $26000 per year
Commission & Bonus:UNCAPPED commissions on written sales
- 1 - 6% in commissions on monthly sales based on sales achievement vs goal commission % increases as performance to goal increases.
- Monthly bonus opportunity up to $1500 based on achievement of store sales goals

Individual pay is based on various factors including geographic location personal performance and relevant qualifications experience and skills. By providing our salary ranges and compensation range details we aim to foster understanding and confidence in our pay practices. Should the base rate plus the commissions earned during a performance period not be at or greater than location minimum wage requirements for the period the company will make a minimum wage adjustment for the employee to be compliant with minimum wage for the location.
