The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotels employment policies and practices including hiring firing discipline staffing compensation benefits and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International Inc.

Area Sales Manager
Ready to Drive Revenue Build Relationships and Make an Impact

Are you a passionate sales professional who thrives on building connections uncovering opportunities and delivering results Do you love the energy of hospitality and the excitement of helping hotels grow their business If so we want to meet you!

As an Area Sales Manager youll play a key role in driving revenue and market share across a portfolio of 2-10 hotels. Youll partner closely with hotel leaders and Directors of Sales to identify new business opportunities strengthen existing client relationships and bring travelers groups and events through our doors.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated sales professional who enjoys networking creating memorable client experiences and celebrating success with a winning team.

What Youll Do


Drive Business Growth

  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales revenue and solicitation goals across your hotel portfolio.
  • Identify pursue and secure new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and relationship-building.
  • Develop creative sales strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue.

Build Meaningful Relationships

  • Grow and maintain strong partnerships with corporate accounts leisure travelers government organizations associations social groups and event planners.
  • Conduct sales calls hotel tours client meetings and networking events that showcase the best of our properties.
  • Become a trusted hospitality resource for your clients and community partners.

Stay Ahead of the Market

  • Monitor industry trends local market activity and competitor performance.
  • Identify emerging opportunities and develop action plans to capitalize on them.
  • Collaborate with hotel leadership to drive market share and revenue growth.

Be a Brand Ambassador

  • Represent our hotels at community events industry associations trade shows and networking functions.
  • Create memorable client experiences through exceptional hospitality and service.
  • Help execute sales promotions blitzes and special campaigns that generate excitement and results.

Collaborate for Success

  • Partner with hotel leadership teams to achieve strategic goals.
  • Attend team meetings training sessions and company events.
  • Develop a strong understanding of hotel operations to better serve clients and support overall business success.

What Were Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid drivers license.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence negotiate and build lasting professional relationships.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while staying highly organized and results-focused.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general business technology.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years of hotel sales experience.
  • Experience in Business Travel Group Sales SMERF (Social Military Educational Religious Fraternal) or Leisure Sales.
  • Knowledge of professional sales techniques including prospecting discovery relationship management and closing.
