Sales Manager

Grassmaster Plus is a family-owned and operated lawn care company that has been serving Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire for over 45 years. As we continue to grow we are looking for a motivated numbers-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales department and help drive the next stage of our companys growth.

This is a hands-on sales leadership position. You will manage and coach a team of two sales representatives while also actively participating in sales yourself. We are looking for someone who enjoys building a team tracking numbers developing sales strategies and picking up the phone to close business.

The ideal candidate is a sales leader who still loves to sell. We are not looking for someone who only wants to manage from behind a desk. This person should be comfortable coaching two salespeople in the morning and jumping on the phone to work leads alongside them in the afternoon.

Successful candidates will have:

• Previous sales management or team leadership experience
• Strong cold-calling and outbound sales experience
• Experience managing warm leads and following a sales pipeline
• Strong understanding of sales numbers KPIs conversion rates and forecasting
• Ability to set goals and hold a team accountable
• Experience working with a marketing or lead-generation budget
• Excellent communication and coaching skills
• Strong organizational and follow-through skills
• Lawn care landscaping home services pest control HVAC roofing or similar service-industry sales experience is a strong plus
