Position Summary

The Sales Manager is a key member of theDanceOneteam responsible for building meaningful relationships driving growth and expanding participation across allDanceOneprograms and events. This role blends strategic salesexpertisewith a genuine passion for dance and community engagement. The ideal candidate thrives on connection creativity and purpose turning opportunities into lasting partnerships that uplift and inspire.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies that align withDanceOnesgoals for growth and brand impact.

  • Build manage and nurture relationships with studio owners educators and partners to expand participation.

  • Identifyand develop new business opportunities partnerships and markets within the dance and performing arts industries.

  • RepresentDanceOneat conventions events and trade shows promoting programs and engaging directly with the community.

  • Collaborate with marketing operations and events teams to ensure a consistent high-quality experience for clients and participants.

  • Maintain and track a healthy sales pipelinereport onperformance metrics and forecast future growth opportunities.

  • Providevaluable field insights to inform programming messaging and partnership initiatives.

  • Support client retention and loyalty through personalized communication and follow-up.

  • Embody and promoteDanceOnescore values integrity passion creativity and community in every interaction.

Skills & Competencies

  • Proven success in sales business development or account management preferably within the performing arts events educationindustriesor medical sales.

  • Strong relationship-building and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Strategic thinker with excellent organizational and analytical abilities.

  • Confident and engaging public speaker comfortablerepresentingthe brand at live events.

  • Team player with a collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally.

  • Self-motivated adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced creative environment.

  • Proficiencywith CRM systems sales tracking and Google or Microsoft Office Suite tools.

  • Deep appreciation for dance the arts and community development.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Communications or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 35 years of experience in sales partnership development or account management.

  • Experience in the dance performing arts or event industrystronglypreferred.

  • Travel requiredtoconventions events and studio visits. (Up to 75% travel)

  • Ability to work occasional weekends and flexible hours during event seasons.
