- Maintain the highest standards of service through professional informative and responsive communications (written and verbal) with our internal and external customers.
- Perform joist & deck estimates using estimating software program.
- Develop strong partnerships with our customers.
- Work with the commercial team on devising and executing a market strategy for the territory.
- Develop and grow strong relationships with the local Engineering community by attending local events andgatherings.
- Be willing and able to travel.
- Willingness to work more than 40 hours per week when required.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate lead and uphold safety policies practices procedures and housekeeping standards at all times
- Bachelors degree in Engineering
- Experience in reading architectural and structural drawings project specifications along with a general understanding of the construction process
- Experience in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Bachelors degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering
- Experience in customer service and sales related roles
- Proficiency with NuBid
- Working knowledge of SAP
- Willing to put in and move for future advancement opportunities
