Sales and Application Engineering Co-op

• Independently support the global sales network on customer opportunities including:
  • Valve sizing and selection across the Flow Controls portfolio
  • Application and product recommendations
  • Technical support on requests for proposal (RFQs) and project bids
• Manage assigned RFQs end-to-end including:
  • Develop technical solutions
  • Prepare and review quotations
  • Recommend pricing strategy
• Collaborate with global sales teams product engineering product marketing and technical experts to create alignment between customer requirements and product solutions
• Troubleshoot field installation problems and specify custom valve solutions
• Provide training and host Marshalltown Innovation Center site visits for sales representatives and customers
• Analyze and develop market studies on industry trends

• Enrollment in a Bachelors degree program in Engineering
• Strong problem-solving analytical and communication skills

• Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
• Junior or Senior Standing
