JOB SUMMARY:
The Sales Admin Specialist III will be responsible for providing administrative support to the National Account team and will act as their key point of contact. The Sales Admin Specialist III will demonstrate strong knowledge of the administrative role activities procedures and reporting relationships within the sales department.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Completes rollout forms for all product launches/changes and partners with the rollout team and NAM to answer all questions after submitting.
Completes vendor set up forms including pricing dimensions ship points etc.
o This process may involve gathering information from multiple departments and at times from the retailers themselves.
Identifies and calls out any outliers and verifies all data prior to submitting.
Updates forecasting inventory in-stock and POS files on a weekly basis and communicates any changes.
Enters data into existing programs and runs ad hoc reports using ATC reporting software.
Directs presentation workflow for all major account presentations utilizing project tracking forms and distributes to appropriate team members.
Assists with managing the YOY budget files.
Determines residual inventory from collaboration plan; if residual work with operations & NAM to cancel inventory or sell off balance.
Maintains discontinued inventory tracking for all dropped programs.
Updates internal inventory reporting.
Updates the new program projection file.
Oversees the setup and maintenance of all ATC items within our retailers portals.
Maintains all customer manuals for assigned accounts; adds new products and removes discontinued items as needed.
Update customer manuals based on any changes to active items including new sell price case pack change etc.
Organizes store shop dates and times and breaks out category assignments.
Leads the in-store shops on an as needed basis for photos measurements and competitive shops.
Oversees the requests for current client samples.
Supports analysts in database maintenance and provides report updates on an as needed basis.
Assists with requests from sales team; specific priority is based on the needs of the National Account Managers.
Updates the weekly Walmart Scorecard for the designated territory.
Verifies the weekly scorecard results with Velocity data and researches discrepancies.
Provides pricing pages and slides for the designated territory.
Controls the closeout/opportunity deck prior to each market.
Teams with PD Marketing and Pricing to ensure all information in the deck is accurate.
Assists with PowerPoint slides on an as needed basis.
Leads new hire training.
Actively participates in team meetings.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Associates degree or equivalent is preferred
At least 4 years of experience supporting a demanding and multi-location sales team
Advanced communication and presentation skills
Demonstrates proficiency at verbal written and electronic communication
Basic telephone protocol when answering calls and utilizes grammatical guidelines for typing and distribution of business letters and emails
Experience with creating training materials and job aides
Demonstrates initiative and adds value to department projects
Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task
Basic project management skills
Problem solving capabilities
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel PowerPoint and Word
Team player who can also work independently
Understands and practices confidentiality when appropriate
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to withstand prolonged periods sitting at a desk
Frequent use of upper extremities to perform keyboard functions and work on a computer
Ability to occasionally stand/walk
