This is a remote role based within the region responsible for managing key accounts developing new business opportunities and delivering custom automation and engineered ideal candidate will bring 5-7 years of sales experience in custom automation or engineered-to-order solutions along with a technical or engineering background to effectively engage with customer engineering teams and internal Youll be doing:Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth within the Midwest US region as well as nationallyIdentify pursue and close complex custom automation and engineered system opportunitiesLead the full sales lifecycle from opportunity development through contract negotiation and project handoffBuild strong relationships with key stakeholders across engineering operations procurement and executive leadershipCollaborate with internal engineering and application teams to develop and deliver tailored technical solutionsMaintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast to meet or exceed revenue targetsMonitor industry trends competitive activity and emerging transportation technologies (EV mobility etc.)TravelExpectation of travel up to 30-50% of the time could be anticipated however this may be exceeded in exceptional circumstances to meet sales or project needsWhat Were Looking For:Required5-7 years of sales experience in custom automation engineered systems or capital equipmentProven track record of closing complex technical sales opportunitiesStrong consultative selling communication and negotiation skillsPreferredBachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical Industrial or similar)Experience with applications engineering robotics automated manufacturing systems or system integrationFamiliarity with CRM systems and structured sales processesWhy Join Us:Here at Eclipse Automation creation and innovation are at our core and our culture reflects that.
