Job Summary
- Position Summary
- Temporary hourly-intermittent student assistant position available in Safety and Risk Management.
- Start Date
- Positionavailable on or after October 1 2026and ending on or before May 21 2027. Possibility of reappointment based on budget department needs and job performance.
- Job Description/Duties
- Under the supervision of the Director for Safety & Risk Management this position will perform duties to include but not limited to:
Duties include but are not limited to:- Front desk duties including answering phones read/respond to emails and receive walk-ins.
- Pick up distribute mail and make on campus deliveries as needed.
- Create and update spreadsheets and databases.
- Compose correspondence type letters and memos often confidential in nature.
- Heavy data entry filing and clerical projects.
- Filing shredding scanning and copying documents as needed.
- Preparation of training materials such as copies collate staple folder preparation etc.
- Perform office flu hygiene prevention (dusting sanitizing).
- Other duties as assigned.

- Driving may be required to carry out assigned tasks
Required Qualifications:- Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
- Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.
- Must have received and accepted Financial Aid award for the current semester/year in which you are applying.
- Salary Range
- $16.90per hour.
