Job Summary

Are you the type of person who enjoys solving problems learning how manufacturing operations work and helping create a safer and more environmentally responsible workplace In this role you will support Environmental Health and Safety initiatives through project work data analysis workplace assessments training support and continuous improvement activities. Were looking for someone with strong communication and analytical skills attention to detail and a desire to collaborate with others to identify hazards reduce risk and strengthen our EHS culture.

What Youll Do

1. Assist with EHS inspections audits risk assessments workplace observations and compliance assurance activities.

2. Support incident and near-miss investigations by gathering information documenting findings identifying contributing factors and tracking corrective actions.

3. Analyze EHS data and help develop reports EHS Scorecard metrics dashboards and presentations that support informed decision-making.

4. Assist with environmental compliance activities which may include waste management recycling stormwater air emissions and pollution-prevention initiatives.

5. Participate in continuous improvement projects using Plan-Do-Check-Act principles to reduce risk improve compliance and strengthen EHS processes.

6. Collaborate with Operations Engineering Human Resources Occupational Health and other cross-functional partners to address EHS opportunities and implement practical solutions.

What Were Looking For

- Currently pursuing a bachelors degree in Environmental Health and Safety Occupational Safety Industrial Hygiene Environmental Science Engineering or a related field.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to organize information identify trends and maintain attention to detail.

- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions and interact professionally with team members at all levels.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn EHS systems analyze data and clearly present findings and recommendations.

Travel

- No travel is expected of this position.

Work Location

ONSITE: A team members day-to-day work is best done on a Vermeer campus. If work content can be occasionally completed at an offsite location discuss potential arrangements with your manager.
