We are looking for a Safety Coordinator to join our team.

In this role you will drive a safe work environment through regular inspections hazard identification training and incident investigation while also supporting the Human Resources team with recruiting onboarding and day-to-day associate needs.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of machinery equipment and work areas to ensure compliance with OSHA and company policies
• Identify potential hazards perform job hazard analyses and implement corrective actions or temporary precautions
• Deliver new hire safety orientations safety training sessions and toolbox talks
• Partner with the Fleet team to emphasize accident prevention and ongoing driver safety training
• Investigate accidents near-misses and injuries to determine root causes and implement preventive measures
• Maintain accurate records of inspections safety training and accident reports
• Develop and implement emergency response procedures and drills
• Assist with recruiting efforts and support new hire orientation and training
• Provide general HR support to Spanish-speaking associates

Job Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in a safety-related role with HR support responsibilities
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience
• Thorough understanding of OSHA EPA and other local state and federal safety regulations
• Bilingual in Spanish
• Strong communication leadership problem-solving follow-up and analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
