SAFETY COORDINATOR

PAY: $60-$70000/yr

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Safety Coordinator to promote a safe and compliant work environment. This role is responsible for monitoring workplace safety in a manufacturing setting conducting inspections investigating incidents and ensuring compliance with OSHA and company safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor operations for compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies
• Conduct facility inspections and safety audits to identify and correct hazards
• Investigate incidents near misses and safety concerns and recommend corrective actions
• Provide safety training guidance and coaching to employees
• Ensure proper PPE use and safe work practices
• Maintain safety records reports and required documentation
• Assist with emergency response and communicate safety concerns to management

Qualifications

• Bilingual - fluent in English and Spanish
• 2 years of safety supervisory or leadership experience
• 1 year of industrial safety experience
• High school diploma or GED required; safety certifications a plus
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices
• Strong communication leadership and problem-solving skills
• Microsoft Office and safety reporting experience preferred
• Able to stand walk and conduct facility inspections for extended periods
• Manufacturing industrial or warehouse experience preferred
