State Utility Contractors Inc. is seeking a Safety Coordinator tosupport and strengthen our company-wide safety program across active job sites. This role is ideal for someone early in their safety career who enjoys working directly with field crews promoting safe work practices andensuring compliance with OSHA and company standards.

What Youll Do
You will be involved in the daily execution of State Utility Contractorssafety program across active projects.
You will:
Conduct regular and unannounced jobsite inspections to identify unsafeconditions and behaviors
Assist in developing implementing and enforcing OSHA and company safetypolicies and procedures
Organize and conduct safety training orientations and skill assessments
Maintain accurate documentation of inspections incident investigations nearmisses and training records
Serve as a point of contact between employees and management on safetymatters in both English and Spanish
Evaluate equipment and work processes to ensure compliance with regulatoryand internal standards
What You Bring
High school diploma or equivalent(technical training or associate degree preferred)
Bilingual in English and Spanish
OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification preferred (First Aid CPR and AEDrecommended)
6 months of experience in safety health or environmental roles(construction or industrial experience preferred)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic safety record-keeping systems
Strong observation communication and organizational skills
Clean driving record with 5 years of drivingexperience
