Job Summary

Southern Industrial Constructors is seeking a Safety Admin on a project site in Raleigh NC. The primary role is to support the Safety Manager with administrative responsibilities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Scan documents (SSAWs and permits)
  • File scanned documents into the appropriate folders
  • Distribute (email hand deliver) SSAWs and permits to appropriate site personnel and client representatives
  • Separate and file scanned documents into the appropriate Blue Beam job folder based on the foreman and job number
  • Data enter incident information after investigation has been completed into the incident spreadsheet
  • Scan and file completed incident information into the shared drive
  • Make copies for future use (permits blank sign-in sheets)
  • Collect and maintain all completed sign in sheets daily
  • Meet new hires at orientation to ensure they arrived and are in the proper location
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience.
  • Previous data entry experience required.
  • Working knowledge and experience with MS Office (Word and Excel).
  • Bluebeam experience a plus.
  • Outstanding organizational skills flexibility and professionalism.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Work Environment

Conditions include working in office with occasional entry into shop busy traffic areas and warehouses. Occasional exposure to dirt dust grease oil vibrations and adverse weather conditions. Must be able to safely access all areas of property. Must be able to effectively use any required PPE equipment.
