Position: Russian Audio Generalist Evaluator Expert (San Francisco Bay Area)
Type: Contract
Compensation: $50/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 1020 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Transcribe and optimize audio and video content in Russian ensuring clarity and accuracy.
• Produce high-quality written outputs in Russian with supporting work in English.
• Develop detailed evaluation rubrics and grading guidelines in Russian and English.
• Conduct model testing and grading to assess generated outputs for accuracy and fluency.
• Participate in QA and review cycles to ensure tasks meet Mercors quality standards.
• Collaborate with project leads to resolve ambiguities and improve task design.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Strong writing editing and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Native or near-native fluency in Russian and professional fluency in English.
• Strong familiarity with spoken Russian and regional vocabulary.
• Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Preferred

• College students or recent graduates.
• Background in linguistics humanities social sciences journalism or technical disciplines.
• Prior experience with transcription annotation or research workflows in Russian.
• Interest in AI language models or applied research environments.
