RProduct Service Engineering Leader Aeroderivative (mfd) (Hybrid)

The Product Service Engineering (PSE) Leader will act as the technical heartbeat for our global Aeroderivative fleet leading a high-performing geographically dispersed team through a period of record-breaking growth. You will drive the always-on reliability required by industry-leading customersfrom legacy power generation to hyper-scale data centersby overseeing rapid data-driven field issue resolution and fostering a culture of technical excellence.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead the Global Front Line:Own the vision and strategy for our PSE organization including the Quick Response Center (QRC). You will serve as the first line of defense for urgent customer inquiries ensuring pragmatic actionable solutions that keep our customers operations running.
• Drive Operational Excellence:Set team priorities and performance standards to ensure timely high-quality resolution of field issues directly impacting customer sentiment and fleet availability.
• Orchestrate Lifecycle Support:Manage the seamless transition of complex issues from initial QRC response to deep-dive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) in partnership with dedicated product-specific teams.
• Cultivate a High-Performance Culture:Lead a global team of 5 direct people-leaders and 50 total engineering professionals with primary hubs in Houston Greenville Queretaro Madrid and India. Mentor a field-first workforce that balances technical rigor with rapid delivery.
• Partner for Strategic Impact:Collaborate across Regional Services Commercial Product Line and Systems teams to support global Installation & Commissioning (I&C) and fleet-wide reliability.
• Scale for Growth:Support our record-breaking new unit sales by scaling our technical response capabilities to serve a diverse high-growth customer base including industry leaders in the Power Gen and Data Center sectors.
• Influence Product Improvement:Serve as the Voice of the Customer translating field insights into actionable preventative measures and design improvements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical Aerospace or related discipline).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in product service field engineering or technical leadership within the rotating equipment or power generation industry
• Minimum 5 years experience in a leadership capacity including managing teams.
• While a hybrid work environment must be able to work from a GE Vernova office a minimum of 3 days/week.
• There is no sponsorship for the role now or in the future

• Demonstrated success leading global cross-functional or remote teams.
• Passion for the Aeroderivative product line and rapid resolution in high-pressure environments.
• Strong technical background in gas turbine operation maintenance or field service.
• Ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes (Sales Product Line Field Services).
• Exceptional communication skills with an ability to influence global stakeholders.
• Experience with data-driven problem solving with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
• Experience supporting non-traditional high-demand customers (e.g. Data Centers Hyperscalers).
• Advanced technical degree or MBA.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position the pay range for this position is between $152400.00 and $254000.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110% 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience education and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
