Rotordynamics Systems Engineer responsible for Gas Turbine rotor and bearings design manufacture test and after-market troubleshooting and diagnostics support.
Scope includes responsibility for rotors bearings adjacent engine static structures as well as interaction with package accessory and control systems.
Design responsibilities will include single-component design system-level design
(rotordynamic analyses) and applied process improvements (balancing methodology production sequences or testing plans).
Manufacturing support responsibilities will involve regular collaboration with production engineers and shop personnel to provide guidance for manufacturing of components critical to rotordynamic system behavior.
Field and test support responsibilities will involve regular interaction with test engineers and field personnel to ensure proper acquisition of vibration data diagnose and assess product health and provide trouble-shooting recommendations.
Summary Pay Range:
$120600.00 - $180900.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors job level market locationjob-related knowledge skills individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
