1. CTE Credential in the area of Public Safety or qualify for this credential based on three (3) years of full-time (paid or unpaid) industry experience (or a combination of applicable college credits and industry experience) as well as a high school diploma. Specific credential information may be found here: The associated costs for the preliminary CTC credential will be at the employees expense.2. English Learner Compliance:If you dont have an English Learner Authorization you will be required to apply for an emergency/waiver permit with the CTC as a condition of employment. During the first year of employment you will need to earn the English Learner Authorization certificate by coursework exam or a combination of coursework and exam.
