Job Summary
Daniels Property Group (DPG) is the real estate partner of Daniels Health supporting the acquisition development construction and management of healthcare and industrial facilities across North America. As Daniels continues to expand DPG is building an internal construction team responsible for maintaining improving and protecting our facilities.
Were looking for motivated Roofing Technicians to join our national roofing team. Working alongside our Roofing Foreman / Superintendent youll travel throughout the United States performing roof inspections repairs preventative maintenance and roof replacement projects on Daniels-owned facilities.
Unlike traditional roofing contractors our work is focused on improving and maintaining our own propertiesallowing for consistent high-quality workmanship without chasing the next bid.
- Perform commercial roof repairs replacements and preventative maintenance.
- Install repair and maintain commercial roofing systems including TPO EPDM PVC modified bitumen metal roofing flashing sealants and associated components.
- Assist with roof inspections and identify maintenance or repair needs.
- Safely operate roofing tools equipment lifts and fall protection systems.
- Load unload and organize materials and equipment at project sites.
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment.
- Follow OSHA regulations and Daniels safety procedures at all times.
- Work closely with the Roofing Foreman / Superintendent to complete projects safely efficiently and on schedule.
- Support additional facility improvement and construction projects as needed.
- Travel extensively throughout the United States to support Daniels facilities.
- 2 years of commercial roofing experience preferred.
- Experience with commercial roofing systems including TPO EPDM PVC modified bitumen and metal roofing.
- Knowledge of commercial roofing safety practices and OSHA requirements.
- Ability to safely work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic with a willingness to travel extensively.
- Ability to lift and carry roofing materials and equipment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
